The ATA Advocacy Award recognizes a person or entity that has demonstrated outstanding advocacy for the language professions in general, for the importance of professional translators and interpreters, and/or for the greater societal understanding of the value of professional translators.

Eligibility

• Recipients and nominators must be ATA members.
• Organizations are also eligible.
• Recipients are not eligible for repeat consideration.

Award

The recipient will be recognized at the UTA Annual Conference, in The UTA Chronicle, and on the ATA website.
